Introduction

We’re looking for models for our print-only photo book, "Riding Solo." This project follows on from our Riding Solo Vol 1 photo book that focussed on women, now it’s the guys turn.

Who We're Looking For

30 Men (or male presenting) willing to take all their kit off for the camera

• Age: Anywhere from 22 to 50 (there’s flexibility with this)

• The Look: Authentic, stylish, quirky. But we’ll of course accept adonis too

• The nuts and bolts: We’ll be aiming for 8-10 pictures to put in the book. most will be clothed/partially clothed but the final one or two will be artistic nude.

Personality Is Key

We're on the hunt for genuine guys who are either already comfortable taking their kit off for a camera or are excited about the prospect. You don’t have to use your real name in the credits on the book and the images will not be stored or transferred anywhere digitally - they will only exist in the 2,000 books that are printed.

No Experience Necessary

Don't worry if you've never been in front of a camera professionally. This is about real people, real and genuine emotions. If you’re new to this we may end up taking a few thousand in the session to get the perfect shots, if you’re an old hand we’ll probably take fewer.

What to Expect

A two to three hour shoot with coffee and laughter

The shoot is relaxed and typically lasts about 2-3 hours. We want to capture your true self, there’ll be the opportunity for some serious shots and some outright laughter, all we ask is you bring your whole self, are rested and ready.

Nudity

While it’s not the primary focus of the shoot there will be a requirement for nudity. We’ll have a full briefing and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to assist with the creative direction. There’s no need for erections or any form of sexual activity and you are most welcome to bring a chaperone to the shoot.

Even though nudity is required for the photo book, if for any reason you don’t feel comfortable on the day there is never any issue with you saying so and ending the shoot - there is never any pressure on you.

The Perks

Location

Shoot in the comfort of your own home (UK, Berlin, Amsterdam, Rome or Paris) or join us in our studios in Herefordshire or London In the UK.

Compensation

This is a paid opportunity. We respect artists, both those beginning their journey and old hands. For full transparency we’re shooting 30-35 guys and have a casting budget of £4k. We also have a separate travel budget for those coming from afar. This means we have an average budget of £115 per shoot. We appreciate this isn’t much and it’s an ambitious project but we have a few ways of helping:

• If you’re able and willing to take less we’ll happily run a TFP session with you in addition to the shoot (we can’t share the Riding Solo shoot on a TFP basis as it’s a print only project and having electronic copies of the images floating around will defeat the purpose!)

• If you need more we’re hoping there will be a little extra in the pot from those who are willing to take a lower amount - we really don’t want money to be a barrier for participation so please get in contact and we’ll see what we can do

• We have two other projects running at the moment - Sunday Mornings and Inside Out II both of these have budget too so we could potentially combine shoots.
